Two transit lines serve the Clovis area. Stageline operates along fixed routes with regularly scheduled stops. Round Up is a demand-response service for riders who call in advance to schedule trips. Stageline operates weekdays from approximately 6:15 am to 6:15 pm and approximately 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekends (depending upon the route). FAX route 28 operates in Clovis in Shaw Avenue weekdays from 6:30am to 7:30pm and weekends from 12:15pm to 6:30pm Stageline fares: - General public from age 6 to 64: $1.00 per one-way trip
- Seniors 65 and over free
- Persons with disability (proof of disability required): $.50 per one-way trip
- Children under 6: Up to 4 children free with fare paying adult
- Transfers to complete a one-way trip: Free (Transfers may be used on either Clovis or FAX buses)
- A 20-ride pass is available for $18.00
- Metro Pass, valid on both Clovis Stageline and FAX buses is $40.00
- Clovis Transit does not accept the Fresno Area Express regular monthly convenience pass
Passes are available at Clovis City Hall, 1033 Fifth Street, Clovis All 22 Clovis transit vehicles – Stageline buses are teal-colored with the transit logo and Round Up buses are red, white and blue -- are accessible in line with Americans with Disabilities Act standards. All of the buses are being replaced with compressed natural-gas and clean-burning diesel vehicles. |
