Just before 5 o’clock this morning, Clovis Police received a 9-1-1 call from a woman who whispered into the phone that her ex-boyfriend was trying to break into her apartment near Tenth and Villa in violation of an Emergency Protective Order. Officers found damaged window screens, but no one got inside her residence.
