Citizens of Clovis: we need your help!
Google has unveiled a new project to bring ultra-fast Internet connection speeds to select communities via fiber connections to homes. They estimate that this will increase internet speeds 100 times for the average residence. Google will be selecting a few communities for their experiment.
This is where you, the citizens of Clovis, come in!
Google is currently accepting requests from communities that would like to participate in their Fiber for Communities experiment. We are doing our part as your local government to give Google the information it needs, but we could use your help as well. Google has designed a process for citizens to nominate their community for the project and we would like to get in as many nominations as possible.
To nominate Clovis and to learn more about this project go to http://www.google.com/appserve/fiberrfi/, click on "Get Involved" and then "Nominate your community."
Nominations end on March 26. Please visit the link above ASAP and tell your friends and family to visit it as well! You can only nominate once per email address.
Thanks for your help with advancing technology in Clovis!
