The Planning Commission is the body that reviews development proposals for compliance with the General Plan and makes recommendations to City Council in the following areas:

• Long range plans and maps for the City and plans for public improvements within the City
• Plans and development plans proposed for property within the City
• Zoning and rezoning of property within the City

The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The current membership is listed below. Regular meetings are held monthly at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
