Clovis Traffic Alerts
The City of Clovis issues traffic advisories for the safety and convenience of the commuting public. Please check this page frequently for updated conditions. As always, when roadways are under construction or restrictions, drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly, give themselves enough time to traverse the area safely and comfortably, or to avoid the area althogether, if possible.
SHAW AVENUE LANE CLOSURE (Issued March 10, 2010)
On Thursday, 3/11/10, the intersection of Shaw & Clovis Avenue will undergo lane closures between 9am and 3pm. There will also be intermittent lane closures at the intersection of Minnewawa and Shaw Avenues. The traffic signal at Minnewawa and Shaw Avenues will be placed in flashing red. Tri-County will be performing street work for CIP09-14.
TEMPERANCE & FIR INTERSECTION (Issued February 25, 2010)
Beginning, Friday, 2/26/10, through the end of July, the intersection of Temperance and Fir Avenues will undergo traffic control. Stop signs will be placed at the intersection in preparation for traffic signal installation. Clark Construction and A-C Electric will be performing the construction for the Clovis Community Hospital.
