
Clovis Traffic Alerts
The City of Clovis issues traffic advisories for the safety and convenience of the commuting public. Please check this page frequently for updated conditions. As always, when roadways are under construction or restrictions, drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly, give themselves enough time to traverse the area safely and comfortably, or to avoid the area althogether, if possible.
DOWNTOWN CLOVIS ROAD CLOSURES (Issued August 28, 2010)
On Sunday, 9/5/10, Central Valley Cycling will be hosting a bicycle race. Between 7am and 2pm, the following locations will be closed to traffic:
- Pollasky Avenue between Second and Fourth
- Fourth Street between Dewitt and Pollasky
- Dewitt Avenue between Third and Fourth
- Third Street between Dewitt and Woodworth
- Woodworth Avenue between Second and Third
- Second Street between Woodworth and Pollasky
ASHLAN AVENUE LANE SHIFTS (Issued August 6, 2010)
Beginning Monday, 8/9/10, through Friday, 9/24/10, Ashlan Avenue will undergo lane shifts (westbound traffic will be shifted to the south side of Ashlan) between Armstrong and Temperance Avenues. Western Paving will be performing street work for CIP 09-25.
OLD TOWN CLOVIS ROAD CLOSURES (Issued May 12, 2010)
Every Friday, beginning 5/14/10 through 9/10/10, the following locations will be closed to traffic between 4:30 pm and 10:30 pm to accommodate the Farmer’s Market hosted by the Business Organization of Old Town (BOOT):
- Pollasky Avenue from Third to Fifth
- Fourth Street from Woodworth/Pollasky Alley to Pollasky/Clovis Alley
