In the fast-paced, urgent operations of the police and fire departments, Clovis Information Technology department assists with maintaining the Fresno Countywide 9-1-1 system, enabling public safety officers to perform their jobs with precision and accuracy. The new, 70,000-square-foot Public Safety facility, featuring the latest in technology including a fiber optics system, means speedier, more efficient transmission of all communications.
Residents, visitors and business operators easily are able to access frequently requested government information and city resources via the Internet and the city’s website, which the Information Technology department manages. Information Services also helps keep city employees on top of their jobs by making certain core equipment operates properly and providing tech support, training and education.
