Teen Time

Teen Time is a free teen program for students from the 7th through 12th grade that meets Fridays from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Clovis Area Recreation.  There are activities available such as soccer, basketball, pool and air hockey or you can just come down to hang out.  The program is supervised by C.A.R. staff and runs year round.  Teen Time also sponsors special events such as bowling, lazer tag, award winning Clovis Rodeo Parade floats, the Say Boo to Drugs Haunted House, and Annual Cookie Baking.

Teen Adventures

Are you an area teen 12-17 years of age, looking for some adventure? Clovis Area Recreation is now offering the Teen Adventures program.  Members of Teen Adventures will have weekly meetings. At the meeting participants will learn skills and information needed for a variety of outdoor activities.  Members will also gather ideas and plan for future outdoor activities and trips.  Activities could include: camping, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, skateboarding, skiing/snowboarding/snowshoeing, and whatever else the group can come up with.  The Teen Adventures meetings will be held on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. at the end of the usual Friday night Teen Time sessions.  The planned activities will include transportation, supervision, equipment and instruction at a low or no cost.  All meetings, guest speakers, and instruction are free.
