If you have lost your pet, we encourage you to contact Clovis Animal Services. An officer may have picked up your animal during routine rounds or someone may have delivered your pet to our shelter.  Please claim your pet during regular shelter hours, which are 2:30-6 p.m., everyday. In the City of Clovis, licenses are required for all dogs over the age of four months.  However, in addition to license tags, a generic identification tag as well as a microchip can help greatly in locating the owner of a stray animal.  For $20, Clovis Animal Services will implant a microchip in your pet.  Call Clovis Animal Services at 324-2450 to schedule an appointment.

Stray animals remain in the shelter for five days. After five days, health and temperament evaluations are performed on each animal.  It is the goal of Clovis Animal Services to place each healthy, unclaimed animal in a new permanent home.
